Our programs are geared to reach the un-churched child and teen
in very practical ways. Many are from underprivileged homes. There
are many children who live in the inner cities who don’t always
even get the basics of food and shelter. In 1999 the U.S. Bureau
of the Census reported that 61.7% of African American, 85.1% of
Latino, and 60.9% Caucasian in the 13th District of L.A. (which
Hollywood is a part of) live 200% below poverty level. Students
receiving free or reduced meals in schools are 90.3%.
Each program is geared to give hope and answer to break the poverty
cycle.
