“CHOOSE” was our camp theme for Oasis Youth Summer Camp 2023! On night one, Pastor Daniel Clark challenged Oasis teens with this message:
“Who is the LORD of your life? Who’s in charge? CHOOSE this day who you will serve.”
Immediately, we saw 21 salvations & 3 re-dedications to The Lord. Students who came to camp with the hardest hearts weeped as they experienced the Presence of God. Acts 2:17 says, “I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.” We saw this promise come to pass as teenagers shared what God was speaking to them through dreams, visions, and words.
Oasis teens enjoyed a week of swimming, zip-lining, archery, all-you-can-eat food, competitions, lip sync battles, and more. But they also built life-long friendships with one another. They were set free from addictions to pornography & perversion. They learned how to hear the voice of God. They gained a spiritual family. Students were saved & set free!
One mom texted us when we got back from camp, “Emily really felt the Holy Spirit at camp. She told me there were friends that she wants to stop hanging out with because they don’t follow God & they’re not going down the right path. She told me that she wants to start reading her Bible while at lunch at school. Her fire for God has inspired me to go back to church.”
