Do You Feel Called?

Do you feel called to Kids ministry? Youth ministry? Missions? Apply for the Oasis internship!

We have two options available: Our Summer 2024 Internship or our Year-Long Internship! The Summer Internship is perfect for current high school students or recent graduates, while the year-long internship is available for those 18 years old or older.

During your internship, you'll work alongside the Oasis staff in reaching at-risk children & youth in Hollywood through weekly programs, outreaches, field trips, Summer camps & more! Plus- you’ll meet people from all over the country as we host mission trips. 

Join us as we serve & point the coolest kids & teenagers on the planet (yes, we’re a little biased) to Jesus! You’ll work with us as we meet practical needs with grocery & clothing distributions at all of our programs, while also meeting spiritual needs through worship, small groups, Bible studies, leadership classes, and more.

What You Should Expect

  1. FUN- it's kids & youth ministry- it has be FUN, right?!
  2. Spiritual & Professional Growth- as you serve, you'll grow spiritually as you continually point the kids & teens we work with to Jesus. Plus, you'll get to learn the behind-the-scenes of a non-profit/ministry.
  3. Hard work & relationship building- we believe consistency makes a huge difference! We are intentional with our time, resources, and the abilities & skills that The Lord has given us.
  4. New experiences- you'll join us as we minister with Mission Teams on Hollywood Blvd, Venice Beach, Santa Monica, and Skid Row. Plus you'll be with us as we take our Kidz Klub & Oasis Youth students on field trips to the beach, Dodger games, aquariums, museums, Summer Camp, and more!

Requirements for Internship

Year-Long Internships Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Must have a driver’s license
  • Must submit & pass a background check via LiveScan & Checkr
  • Must be a committed, active follower of Jesus
  • Must be actively involved in your local church
  • Must have a heart for children’s & youth ministry
  • Must be willing & able to work 40 hours/week
  • Must be teachable & flexible with schedule as it will vary from time-to-time with mission teams, Summer camps, and field trips
  • Must commit to one full year of the Oasis internship
  • Must submit internship application


Summer 2024 Internship:

  • Must be 16 years old or older
  • Must be a committed, active follower of Jesus
  • Must be actively involved in your local church
  • Must have a heart for children’s & youth ministry
  • Must be willing & able to work 40 hours/week
  • Must be teachable & flexible with schedule as it will vary from time-to-time with mission teams, Summer camps, and field trips
  • Must commit to one full Summer of the Oasis internship
  • Must submit internship application
