Something we keep finding ourselves saying is "MORE IN 2024!" We want to reach MORE children, teenagers, and parents for JESUS. We want to see MORE salvations. We want MORE laborers to come be a part of what God is doing in Hollywood. We want to train & equip MORE saints to reach MORE people... MORE, MORE, MORE!
To start off this year of "MORE", we got to train dozens of high-school aged students in ministry & evangelism. In January, we got to take some of the Oasis Youth Leadership students to Vanguard University for the
"CALLED" conference where they got to learn practical & spiritual steps that will help them fulfill the call of ministry on their lives. We asked them what they took away from the conference, and here's what one of our 17-year-old students
"I need to be consistent in GOING IN-spending time with The Lord in my quiet time every day- and GOING OUT - sharing what God has shown me to others."
We also got to welcome Trinity Christian School from Lubbock, Tx. for a week of evangelism & outreach as they ministered on Skid Row, Hollywood Blvd, Venice Beach, and at Kidz Klub & Oasis Youth. They got outside of their comfort zones, and spread the Gospel to hundreds of people! Here's what one of the high school students had to say about the trip:
"I loved getting to know the kids at Kidz Klub! I was happy that we got to make them smile. But God also worked on my heart at Skid Row & Venice
Beach— I loved getting to pray with people at both of those places."
A leader on the trip shared:
"What y'all do at Kidz Klub is just incredible. It broke my heart to hear some of these kid's stories. What you're doing for them each week- sharing the Love of God and being consistent- is essential. Thank you for doing what you're doing."
We are so thankful to start this year off by seeing young people become more & more equipped to reach the lost.
